We'd been trying to start a family doing all you're supposed to do
Every month we hoped and prayed for two pink lines
But almost three years later we couldn't help but wonder
If maybe we should just give up trying
Til that morning she came to me with a look upon her face

He said the test had shown there was an extra chromosome
