There’s a statue of Jesus on the right side of I-75
Going though southwest Ohio, I’ve passed by it so many times
Made of fiberglass and plastic ,it stood there so big
16,000 pounds, impossible to miss
Arms raised like a referee in a football game
After a scoring play

On that stretch of highway
You made them see what they were missing

Then on a stormy summer night
Someone saw a bolt of lightening strike
The right hand of the statue and word spread fast
People came from miles around
To help out but it burned to the ground
