A Texas sized drinking song for a cruise/bar crawl around the state. This song was released on Labor Day weekend last September to Texas Country Radio. After radio promo it climbed as high as #78 on the Texas Country Music Chart and #96 on the American Country Music Chart. Pretty cool for a first time releasing music and doing radio promo and the artist actually lives in Canada. Nash Stanley came down from Quebec last April and we recorded three songs at Rosewood Studios in Tyler, Tx for release. It's still hanging on the Texas Country Chart at #99 this week. We have two more solo releases coming soon as well as a duet with another of my co-writers, Cherise Carver.

V1.
A pint of ale in Amarillo
By morning we were on our way.
High noon daiquiris in Dallas
By Austin we were shooting straight
Tito’s and tonic down in Temple
Sangria out in San Antone
Left my hangover in Houston
For Beach Bloody Mary’s on the coast

Chorus
They say you can’t drink all day
If you don’t start in the morning
A couple weeks out on a wild booze chase
Day drinking ain’t never been boring
This adventure started on a dare
Nobody thought we really would
When they ask us how it’s going
We just say “so bar so good”

V2.
Stopped for a Shiner down in Shiner
Liquored up in Luckenbach
Two – stepped through tequila shots
Drinkin’ long necks in ol Gruene Hall
Belting bourbon down in Beaumont
Double Vodka in Dripping Springs
Morning mimosas with some mommas
And Blue Chair Bay on Padre Beach

Chorus
They say you can’t drink all day
If you don’t start in the morning
A couple weeks out on a wild booze chase
Day drinking ain’t never been boring
This adventure started on a dare
Nobody thought we really would
When they ask us how it’s going
We just say “so bar so good

Bridge
The trip cost us an arm and a keg
Ain’t been in trouble yet so far.
Made a thousand friends criss-crossing
Trying to find the best Texas bar.

Chorus
They say you can’t drink all day
If you don’t start in the morning
A couple weeks out on a wild booze chase
Day drinking ain’t never been boring
This adventure started on a dare
Nobody thought we really would
When they ask us how it’s going
We just say “so bar so good”

So Bar So Good...yeah
