Megan had just turned twenty four
When she earned her nursing degree
Hired to give in-home hospice care
To a nice man in his eighties
Didn't take long for them to become friends
She knew his grim diagnosis
And she couldn't hide her sadness
So he looked up and told her

About the great life he had lived
