Cherry Limeade Slush (c) Roka Records

Verse 1:
Small town, little girls
We thought we could rule the world
With a suntan and a sunroof open wide
After school, after practice
A Cavalier filled up with laughter
Teenagers off for a ride

Chorus:
And a cherry-limeade slush at Sonic
Living life and free of all the things
We'd learn soon enough
Like a house and kids and carpool rushes
A cherry-limeade slush at Sonic
A photo captioned in the chronicles
Of growing up, we had it good
When life was sweet as a cherry-limeade slush

Verse 2:
Same town--how it's grown
With all the families of our own
And the minivans full to bursting with our kids
After school, after practice
I sometimes get caught up in laughter
And I treat them to what I've been missing
(and that's a)

Chorus

Bridge:
And I have to laugh when my high school friend Jen
Pulls up beside me and asks, "How long has it been?"
(since you had a)

Chorus 2X
