Backstory:

Has anybody ever written a song about Christmas lights? While I was cooped up during the first Covid Christmas I spent a lot of time looking out the window and what did I see? Christmas lights! So I wrote this song.

Christmas is a fun time 
For it’s the one time:

Christmas Lights are all around 
Lighting up the town;
Every tree is made bright
On the snowiest night.
Every building wishes you 
Season's greetings too.
But the light I hold most dear 
Is the light that’s so sincere 
In young ones’ eyes
When Christmas is here.

Christmas Lights on boulevards 
Look like Christmas cards; 
Every home is a show
Every home is aglow.
And inside a fire’s light
Is a welcome sight.

When Christmas is here.

Christmas Lights on Christmas morn 
Make us glad we’re born.
Children finally can see
Presents under the tree.

Soon is filled with joy.
