Backstory:
This is a lullaby written for my daughter when I spent Christmas in the USA and she was in Poland.
The mother sings to her child and thinks of the life, the child will have, and is afraid of dangers which may happen to her child. There are 3 versions of this song, one is like a Christmas Carol.
Lyrics:
Lully, baby, try to fall asleep
Lully, bayby, don’t weep.
I'll stay with you all night
Keep you in my arms
So that nobody harms him
Don’t think that the world is such a cold place.
Calm down, show your lovely face.
My heart will stay with you
For sure that is true
Especially when somebody harms you
Lully, baby, try to fall asleep
Lully, bayby, don’t weep.
I'll stay with you all night
Keep you in my arms
So that nobody harms him
