    Backstory:
He fell in love, and although she was charmed by his style, she never said those three magic words. For him, that would have made a difference. Co-written by Anthony Prezio and Clare Steffen as a part of the Round the Globe project. Performed by Anthony Prezio with Saxaphone by John Seneta. As is the tradition of George Harrison's song, "Something" which is considered one of the best love songs, he never actually says "I Love You" in the lyric. I didn't realize this at the time I wrote the lyric and chose a title, but I figured although it is rarely done, perhaps as an Indie songwriter, it is alright to give it a try. Anthony has a fluid style and at times has a tendency to break the rhyme scheme, but again, maybe as an Indie songwriter, this is a little more accepted. This song was written in the Tin Pan Alley tradition, so it intentionally has a retro-style.

    Lyrics:

And she said to me "I like your style" Words I haven't heard In a long, long while These words Would have mattered back then But that time is neither here or then She said to me  Hey Mister, I like your style Chorus Three small words Might have made a difference If she said them  I can't remember when Three small words  Might have made a difference If I could go back  To where it all began V3 When did love go out of fashion I think it is always in vogue Let's not forget the moments When you fell in love with my style You promised me heaven For a long long while She said to me Hey Mister, I like your style Instrumental Bridge Hey mister, I like your style Chorus Three small words Might have made a difference If she said them  I can't remember when Three small words  Might of made a difference If I could go back   To when it all began V3 She said to me "I like your style" Words I hadn't heard In a long, long while These words Would have mattered back then But that time is neither here or then She said to me  Hey mister, I like your style She said to me Hey mister, I like your style She said to me Hey mister, I like your style Outro Why don't you come over here And sit with me for a while
