    Backstory:
Lyrics by Clare Steffen, Music by William Sherry, and vocals by Sandi Kight. The story of a woman who has had enough and is leaving behind her argumentative partner who doesn't appreciate her and doesn't give her love. He's a mean old junkyard dog.

This song has elements of Country Rock, Bluegrass, and didn't exactly fit so probably what it fits best is "Country Boogie"

    Lyrics:

Chorus You’re like a dog with a bone, chased me from my home Snarlin’ and growlin’ everyday You’re just a junkyard dog, chained to your past You hold on to the bad in every way So, don’t chain me to you, don’t tell me what to do No one tells this good girl to, sit and stay V1 You’re on lockdown both night and day And the gate blocks your sight If you don’t change your ways You’ll always be howlin’ at the night Instrumental Repeat chorus You’re like a dog with a bone, chased me from my home Snarlin’ and growlin’ everyday You’re just a junkyard dog, chained to your past You hold on to the bad in every way So, don’t chain me to you, don’t tell me what to do No one tells this good girl to, sit and stay V2 If you don’t forget the past You’ll stay locked up in your chains It’s time to move along at last You’re still young enough to train Repeat chorus You’re like a dog with a bone, chased me from my home Snarlin’ and growlin’ everyday You’re just a junkyard dog, chained to your past You hold on to the bad in every way So, don’t chain me to you, don’t tell me what to do No one tells this good girl to, sit and stay Outro I don’t want no junkyard dog You cause too many fights Now you will never ever know Sounds of lovin’ in the night So long, junkyard dog
