Backstory:

Spare the rod and spoil the child, and when they weren't looking he went wild. Just remember, discipline is different than punishment, and we learn best when we are taught to become disciplined.  He was born in the bible belt where sinners like him can be forgiven. The Bible teaches us to love and to be forgiving.
