Backstory:
I wrote this in 2009 in Japanese tanka style. It was published in two poetry magazines.
I would like to turn it into a song. So I would like to brainstorm the genre and structure.
Probably something Celtic and tranquil like Enya. Or something like the Gladiator theme song. Or something lulling Middle Eastern.
Lyrics:
Seagulls guzzle
The sea and sing
Or cry
The wind chimes
In child’s eyes
Sea foam
Forms salty fuzz
On sand
Where little feet
Would stand
The breeze creases
The sea in folds
And yodels
Castles crumble
When she leaves
