    Backstory:
Song started with me noodling around on the guitar with different chord sequences. A reflective song on today's narcissism in culture was then set in motion. Then I decided on the AABA structure. The lyric flowed from there.

THE TIGER AT TWILIGHT words & music by Robert Marino V1 You know - the tiger at twilight is ready to strike Right at the heart of the matter Baby better take care now - when she comes V2 You’ll find – the charm on your bracelet is ready to lie Just like your pretty-pink tablets Ooh the tiger at twilight – when she comes Bridge I Oh yeah - she would love to meet you there by the borderline She likes to linger where the shadows fall And when she calls - you’ll fall awake all night Your blinded rainbow eyes Will see all that you’ve realized V3 Well you know – the tiger at twilight is surely to bite Deep in the heart of the matter Baby better take care now - when she comes Bridge II ‘Cause the truth behind the laughter will come-a cuttin’ through As the chip on your shoulder comes-a crashes down Oh how will it feel when all that you’ve refused ... Comes out from under you? Yeah I wonder what you’ll do? V4 Well you know - the tiger at twilight is surely to strike Deep in the heart of the matter Baby better take care now - when she comes [3x] ©??2021, New Fusion Publishing-BMI
