    Backstory:
The reference to "We see through a glass darkly," can be found in the First Epistle in Paul's letters to the Corinthians, in the New Testament. In the context of this song we are reminded that if we try to see through an obscure piece of glass, our vision will be clouded and imperfect. We can go through life avoiding truth, and honesty. Sometimes we misunderstand the sensitive individuals who are brave enough to see past the darkness and seek authenticity. Vocals and Lyrics by Clare Steffen (USA), Music and Music Production by Raul Barba (Argentina), and Saxophone by mateusz_sax (UK) as a part of the Round The Globe project.

    Lyrics:

V1 They say I am too sensitive And my thoughts are too deep Maybe they are insensitive Or walking through life half-asleep Unaware and afraid to feel We see through a glass darkly V2 Perhaps they can't see what I see Not great fans of honesty Living in blindness works for them Some can be so quick to condemn It makes me want to scream We see through a glass darkly Chorus When I push the boundaries of my mind I might have to walk all alone Truth may not always be so kind But I can call my life my own Refusing to see through a glass darkly Instrumental Walkdown V3 The more I seek to understand The less they are understanding Time is slipping through my hands Distance between us is expanding Living in blindness continues on Some see through a glass darkly Chorus When I push the boundaries of my mind I might have to walk all alone Truth may not always be so kind But I can call my life my own Refusing to see through a glass darkly No one has to see through a glass darkly
