    Backstory:
I spent a lot of time on my grandparents farm in Louisiana growing up, and I loved listening to Skynard, Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, etc.

    Lyrics:

ROLL ME OUT THE BACK DOOR MAMA ® 2024 Marvin Adcock Born in Louisiana in the heart of New Orleans. Raised up on the river by a dark eyed cajun queen. I never used to have no fun, never used to get turned on. Till I felt that rock and roll those southern boys put in my soul I'd wait until the sun goes down. Grab my boots and hit the town, and get blown away. Roll me out the backdoor mama. Don't put salt on my tail. Roll me out the back door mama. Don't put salt on my tail. Life is made to scream and holler. Tonight your son's gonna wail. Quit my job and sold my home, and left for Nashville all alone. Stuffed my cloths inside a pack, and all I owned was on my back. Met a man down on his luck, bought his run down pick up truck. Wrote this song along the way, and dreamed about that Opry stage. I'd wait until the sun goes down. Grab my boots and hit the town, and get blown away. Roll me out the backdoor mama. Don't put salt on my tail. Roll me out the back door mama. Don't put salt on my tail. Life is made to scream and holler. Tonight your son's gonna wail. Roll me out the backdoor mama. Don't put salt on my tail. Roll me out the back door mama. Don't put salt on my tail. Life is made to scream and holler. Tonight your son's gonna wail.
