Backstory:

                                                                                                                                                                                  I wrote this because I found the concept of not being loved like a movie with a sad ending that no one enjoyed. So I thought if this song had a twist on that theme, it might be more satisfying. Not loved, so you love yourself more. They let you down, so you won’t do that to yourself. It has “I’m doing this in spite of you” feeling.
