Golden Ticket with Artist, Producer, Songwriter Dylan Emmet!
We know you want to make real industry connections and get your songs heard. But how do you find collaborators who've already gained traction, are on the rise, and actually willing to give you a seat at the table? This special pitch event is your chance to submit your songs - or lyrics-only - for the opportunity to be handpicked by our new SongU mentor Dylan Emmet for an exclusive co-write with him AND one of his talented artist friends, Constance. With 3M+ streams on his own artist project and 15M+ on songs he's written or produced, Dylan knows how to craft music that connects. His work has been featured on ESPN, FOX SPORTS, NBC, MTV, and even the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Dylan says the winning writer will have a solid shot at him releasing what you co-write together. If you're ready to step up and take your shot at a pro co-write, here's how:
HOW IT WORKS: Dylan will listen to ALL submissions - songs (melody + lyrics) or lyrics-only, and select his top contenders. All contender songs will receive a special Rising Star Award. From this group, Dylan will choose ONE writer to win the GOLDEN TICKET co-write, announced during a live countdown session called The Big Reveal.
WHAT TO SUBMIT: Submit as many songs or lyrics-only as you wish. Dylan is open to all styles and wants to know what your original writing is like. So, please submit songs with human-authored lyrics and music only. No AI should be used in the writing.
QUALITY OF DEMOS + AI RULES: Both simple and professional demos are welcome. Again, no AI-generated lyrics or melodies. It must be human-written. Disclose any AI use in instrumentation or vocals.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: First, place your event song (MP3 and typed lyrics) in your Song Locker. In the "Note for Pitch Guest" area, disclose any AI use and let Dylan know: a) I wrote this song alone; b) I wrote lyrics; c) I wrote music; d) My collaborator and I shared in lyrics and music.

How will you know if you are a contender? Watch for an email from SongU.com after Dylan listens. It will let you know if your song was passed on or made it into the contender field.
